Hazel Wood, after singing nationally and internationally in opera, oratorio, and recital, now devotes herself to teaching.
In addition to her private studio, she taught for 20 years at Trinity College, and directed Birkbeck's Concert Singing Courses throughout their six-year existence.
At Morley College she is now tutor of the Singers' Studio level 6 and the advanced Singers' Master class in French Mélodie.
 Liza Hobbs, teaches singing in the Junior Department of The Royal College of Music, in the vocal department of Millennium Performing Arts,
and at Battle Abbey School.
She also teaches privately in Sussex and in London.
Her work as a singer has ranged wide: musicals, recitals, pantomime, music hall, concerts, dance bands, and opera, in places as diverse as village halls and churches, stately homes, the West End, and the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
